By Land and By Sea…

MBTA
(Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority)

The MBTA services over 1.1 million riders each day. On the South Shore the MBTA offers the subway, the commuter rail, commuter boats, and many bus routes.  The Greenbush commuter rail line is scheduled to open in late 2006 and will provide service from Boston through the Braintree, Weymouth, Hingham, Cohasset and Scituate.
P & B
(Plymouth & Brockton Street Railway Co., Inc.)

P & B buses run between Boston, the South Shore and Cape Cod and includes service to Boston’s Logan Airport.


By air...

Residents of the South Shore have two options for air travel:
Logan International Airport
Located in Boston, Logan Airport is New England’s largest transportation center.

T. F. Green Airport
The "Hassle Free Gateway to New England" is located in Warwick, Rhode Island. It prides itself on new facilities, low-cost parking, and convenient access.
